The life of a student is unique. You’re not dependent anymore but can any of us say we’re really independent yet? Student life comes with an array of obstacles and stressors… Essential oils can help! These are the 10 things all students go through and what essential oils can do to give relief


1. Homesickness

As many of you may know, scent is one of the most nostalgic senses. Aromatherapy can be used to take you back to a place or time. Choose an essential oil that reminds you of home to diffuse or wear on days when you’re missing your friends, family or your hometown.

2. Hangovers

1 box of chocolate cupcake mix, prepared

Whipping cream, small carton

Icing Sugar

doTERRA Peppermint Oil

doTERRA Wild Orange Essential Oil



1. Prepare chocolate cake mix according to instructions

2. Add in 8 drops of doTERRA essential orange oil (or to taste) to the raw cupcake mix. Mix in well.

3. Bake according to package instructions

4. Beat whipping cream until it comes to soft peaks.

5. Add in 2 drops of doTERRA peppermint essential oil (or to taste - be careful! Peppermint oil has a very strong flavour). 

6. Add in 1/3 cup icing sugar, or to taste. 

7. Beat until the mixture forms stiff peaks

8. When cupcakes are cooled completely, push a cave into the middle of them. Fill with the whipped cream and add a little extra on top.
